Smoky aromas feature notes of acacia blossom, white peach and lemon zest plus a hint of spice. The more refined medium weight flavors are once again quite succulent white retaining good verve that continues onto the saline, complex and beautifully persistent finish. This is not necessarily bigger or richer but it does offer slightly better depth. Drink:2025+ - BH89~92
From parcels clustered around the village, Ente's 2017 Puligny-Montrachet Village wafts from the glass with a lovely bouquet of citrus oil, white flowers, fresh peach and warm pastry. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, elegantly textural and incisive, with more structural tension and length than the richer, fleshier Bourgogne Golden Jubilee that preceded it. Long and penetrating, this is an impeccably balanced wine. Drink:2024~2050 - WA92
THE BENOIT ENTE ESTATE
Composed of about twenty plots, the farm has approximately 6 ha. It is mainly established in the town of Puligny Montrachet where a plot of Chassagne Montrachet is added. The vines are mainly in the field of my grandparents: The Chardonnay produced all our white wines, with the exception of the appellation Bourgogne Aligoté and Pinot Noir , Burgundy red.
