A beautiful dark, almost black colour, through which dark purples tinges shimmer and show its youth.
On the nose, aromas of fresh black fruit, blackberry, blackcurrent and blueberry delicately revealing a vegetal hint and scents of sweet spices that make it all very appealing to taste. The expression of this rich generous wine is a round fleshy first taste and it continues with persistent structure of tannin that gives it lovely length on the palate and undoubtedly real ageing potential. - Winemaker's Notes.

Côtes de Bourg is an appellation on the Right Bank of the Bordeaux wine region, producing primarily red wine based on the Merlot grape variety, but also a small quantity of white.
The wine was crafted by Delphine Faure-Maison, a renowned sixth-generation winemaker.
Belonging to the Family Faure since 3 generations, Delphine Faure had the privilege to take over this beautiful Estate. Its 15-hectare vineyard all in one piece surrounds the Chateau.
The Yield on these old vineyards (more than 30 years), is quite low what contributes to the production of ripe and more concentrated grapes.
Wines are consequently richer and very intense.
Just like the other estates of the family, the wines of Chateau Jansenant are vinified by Delphine Faure where she only works in integrated farming.
