Ownership: Christian de Bouard de Laforest

Jean-Bernard Grenié was born on 17th May 1950 in Bordeaux. He married Hélène de Boüard de Laforest and has had three children with her: Pierre, Thierry and Paul-Louis. Jean-Bernard is a trained economist, graduating from Bordeaux University’s Law and Economic Sciences Department in1972. He went on to study for the Diploma of the French Institute of Business Administration (I.A.E.), which he obtained in Bordeaux in 1973. He volunteered for French National Service Cooperation in Mauritania from 1975 to 1977. In 1984, he entered the world of wine by working for a Libourne merchants. He joined Angélus in 1987 and is a member of the Directorate. In 2006, he took charge of Château Daugay with his wife Hélène de Boüard-Grenié.
